We follow the Privacy Act 2020. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do.
Information about you as a customer
We collect your contact details, your business details and the information you share about the role. We use it to deliver what you've bought, to contact you about it, and for invoicing. We don't sell it. We keep it only as long as we need it for these purposes and our legal record-keeping.
Information about candidates (Screening Blueprint)
- Candidates record spoken answers to a few set questions. There's no camera.
- The audio is deleted straight after it's transcribed.
- Candidates can't change their answers once submitted. If we spot a transcription error, we may correct it or invite one fresh answer to that question, and unclear text is never counted against anyone.
- Transcripts are used only inside Role Blueprint to assess applications for that role. No one listens to candidates' voices.
- The employer doesn't receive recordings or transcripts. If a candidate is recommended, the employer receives our written summary of their answers against the role requirements.
- Transcripts are deleted 90 days after the successful candidate's start date, or 6 months after the campaign starts, whichever comes first. If nobody is hired, they're deleted 6 months after the campaign starts.
- Candidates see a privacy notice and agree before recording.
Payroll information (HR Blueprint)
If we provide payroll services, we handle payroll information securely and use it only for the work we've agreed with you.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, anyone (customers and candidates) can ask to see the personal information we hold about them and ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. This is separate from changing submitted answers. Contact us through our Contact page. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
