Is this what I need?
Get clear about what your business needs from the role.
Role Blueprint suits a new, vacant, changing or occupied role. It may help if:
- you're creating a role and need to be clear what it's for;
- an inherited position description no longer reflects the work;
- ownership, decision-making or support needs to be clearer;
- you want a shared reference for someone already in the role;
- you want to be clear on the role before advertising or briefing a recruiter.
What will I receive?
A practical Blueprint Position Description that sets out:
- why the role exists and who its work serves;
- what the role needs to achieve;
- what the person will own and decide, and the limits;
- the key work and the abilities needed;
- what your business needs to provide: authority, resources, information, systems, relationships and support;
- how you'll recognise good work.

How will it help me?
You, your manager and the person in the role work from the same understanding of what the role is for, what they own and what support they can expect. The same document can then guide hiring and onboarding.
What do you do, and what do I do?
- You complete a short guided intake and share any existing material.
- We hold one Discovery Call with you.
- We write the first draft of your Blueprint Position Description.
- You send one set of combined feedback.
- We refine it and send you the final version.
Every Blueprint is reviewed by a person before it's delivered. You make the decisions about the role.
What does it cost, and how long does it take?
NZD $295 + GST for one role.
First draft within 5 working days of the Discovery Call and receiving the information we need. Final version within 3 working days of your feedback.
One purchase covers one role. A substantially different role or a wider organisation-design need is quoted separately.
What happens next?
Role Blueprint clarifies the role. It doesn't assess or make decisions about a person, run recruitment, or give legal or employment-relations advice.
